The embattled senator from Countrywide Connecticut won’t be running for re-election.
I wouldn’t be surprised if more vulnerable Dem’s call it quits in order to avoid probable electoral defeats that would blow the Dem majority. The Dem’s that go for their seats won’t have the stain of being unpopular incumbents. So much for “vote the bums out.”
