		<description>I have memories of this whole interpreter business shortly after 9/11.  It stunk to high heaven then and it stinks now.  The part I remember best was the revelation that people with obvious ties to foreign governments were entrusted with sensitive positions.  And they had the nerve to collude against another foreigner who&#039;s loyalty was to the rest of us.  What&#039;s key here is that the mainstream media simply refuse to cover this aspect of our national life.</description>
