Norwegian Shooter,

Speaking of reading things out rather than typing up fleeting impulses, if you re-read (read) his post, you'll notice that Mr. Gray never actually accused Ms. Klein of hypocrisy.

He did accuse her of being over-rated and celebrity-seeking. These charges are harder to refute.

You're welcome. To you, that is what blogging is all about. Maybe if I had a blogging gig, I'd agree with you. Anyway, I appreciate your honesty.

Spot on, Norwegian Shooter. Thank you. But I am afraid that typing up fleeting impulses is what blogging is all about.

What a hatchet job. You know you should stop and think about actually publishing a post that begins: "There is something a bit creepy about... ." I'm glad that you actually did stop, but typing your fleeting impulses, and then ignoring them, isn't thinking.

Also, thanks for admitting you didn't read The Shock Doctrine. You didn't read No Logo either, or even Google it, as promoting your own brand - that of an individual - is not hypocritical from someone who attacks multinational corporate branding and decries it's effects on people. I don't think Klein's branding has hurt anyone. You obviously quite enjoy it.

They ought to be prouder of Cockburn and relatively more ashamed of her. I wonder if the problem in the documentary arose when she and the director came to the point of writing about what the positive alternative to "Disaster Capitalism" would be.

I'm not sure, though. It might have been about something as mundane as splitting the profits...
