Looking back, I was probably too quick to assume that the head of the Anglican Communion acts exclusively in bad faith when he deals with political matters. I don't know that to be true, and the Bible takes a dim view of unfounded accusations against church leaders.

In a mostly unrelated note, I urge all of you with young children to begin teaching them a second language. I'm a college student struggling with elementary latin, and it would have gone a lot easier a decade and a half ago, I think.

It is true. But I am sure that he is an honorable man who sees it as part of his duties to promote the well being of the realm, and he genuinely judges the well being not to be served by the hounding of our hapless politicians.
I originally used the word "corazones' hoping to inspire a reaction to my wrong use of Spanish, but have got too embarassed and have had to correct it. In Spanish, however many members of parliament there may be, they will have only one corazón, because there is only one in each human body. It is just the way it is. The plural of corazón does exist but it refers to the suit in playing cards. Similarly with noses. However many m.ps there are they can only share one nariz de madera. The plural narices means nostrils.

It's worth pondering why the Archbishop automatically assumes that confidence in the system is a good thing. Sadly, it probably has to do with the fact that the system pays him.

What a shame. The Anglicans are awesome on many fronts, but independence is not one of them.
