The police bureaucrats... Hoover and Felt... who spied on King and Lennon and the weathermen... are part of the liberal establishment? OK. Now if they were corrupt, and Nixon was corrupt, then how could he not be one of them? Seems to me it was a Coke-Pepsi issue, about market share, and who got the money... infighting among thieves, and 'twas ever thus. Watergate, the Huston plan... law and order? Puh-leeez. This is an interesting take on Felt that I haven't heard from anywhere else, even though one can tell that he served in the Nixon White House and was loyal to the man.
