After tonight’s presidential debate, it’s quite possible that I’ll also be watching Turner Classic Movies during the next and last (thanks!) debate, especially if they’ll have on Charlie Chaplin’s Modern Times which was released in 1936, the year in which John McCain was born. My point is that the guy looks so out of it, especially when he is standing next to Obama and trying to deliver his lines. It’s like we need to build a bridge to the 20th century in order to connect with him, and at least Bob Dole was funny. In McCain’s case, 73 is the new 93, and it shows.
