I recently blogged about Hubdub.com–a new “fantasy league for news” site–and its new punditry future’s market, where people can punt on how correct the media’s leading political experts will be in their predictions. It’s a weird, silly thing, but potentially rather interesting. (So far Pat Buchanan has a pleasing 100 per cent accuracy rating).

Anyway, many thanks to Simon Owens, who sent @TAC this link to his interview with Hubdub’s CEO.

As Owens writes,

Punditry is one of the few professions in which its participants aren’t punished for being terrible at their jobs.

Precisely.
